FaceTite is a minimally invasive procedure that uses radiofrequency-assisted liposuction (RFAL) to simultaneously eliminate stubborn fat and tighten loose skin on the lower face and jawline. This is a great alternative to traditional facelift surgery for patients with early signs of aging or those who are not surgical candidates.
The FaceTite device is a thin wand equipped with an electrode that delivers radiofrequency energy (RF energy) to the deep layers of the skin. RF energy creates heat which encourages new collagen production to tighten loose skin and remodel the facial tissues for an elevated, more youthful appearance. Heat energy simultaneously melts stubborn fat cells, which are suctioned out with a separate tube.

FaceTite in Vancouver
The Surgical Experience
The FaceTite procedure can be performed under local anesthesia, which numbs the treatment area without putting you to sleep. Tiny incisions will be made under the chin or around the ears and the FaceTite wand will be carefully inserted under the skin to deliver RFAL energy. The procedure only takes a couple of hours and patients can immediately return home to rest and recover.
Although patients can return to work and most daily activities within a couple of days, strenuous activity should be avoided for 2-4 weeks. You may be recommended to wear compression garments and take anti-inflammatory medication to limit swelling and bruising. The skin will gradually tighten over a few weeks as new collagen develops and final results can be seen in six months or less.
Cost
The cost of a FaceTite treatment varies depending on how long the procedure takes and which areas are being treated. The average cost is $3,000-$7,000.
